The latest TECH GIAN is in, and with it, the latest eroge announcements and news.

First of all, AliceSoft’s Daiteikoku and Rance 8 have been officially announced, with the former having a release schedule of Spring 2011, with Rance 8 to follow. Daiteikoku, a World War II-themed space opera, was delayed due to significant changes to the gameplay system, moving from real time strategy to turn-based strategy.

AliceSoft also announced a new title, Shaman’s Sanctuary, to be released on the 26th of November, which is to be a miko training/battle game of sorts. It will retail at 8925円, which is a little surprising for an announcement that basically came out of nowhere (normally you’d expect surprise AliceSoft titles like this to be budget games like Momoiro Guardian, not stuff that’s only slightly cheaper than the average eroge).

AliceSoft have also announced another title by its Tokyo Kaihatsu team (the creators of DARCROWS, Beat Angel Escalayer, Daibanchou and Beat Blades Haruka) to be released by the end of the year.

Over at pillow headquarters, eroge company Makura have announced a new title, Ikinari Anata ni Koishiteiru (scenario by SCA-ji and Yuzuriha), a moe-moe love story with four heroines, bringing the number of full games to be announced and probably released by Makura between the announcement and release of Sakura no Uta up to 4. I’m not sure what an eroge with a 6+ year development time is going to look like, but given that I think Sakura no Uta is going to be a disappointment no matter what it is.

Embracing their new nukige direction, MOONSTONE Cherry has announced their latest title, Imouto Paradise. One protagonist, five younger sisters and a summer vacation. Someone call TakaJun.

Akabeesoft2 Try have announced another eroge+gameplay title before their first title (Oresama no RangaRock) has even been released.. or even given a release date. Shikigami is a Heian period school battle ADV. Wait and see, I suppose, but they should really finish their first game before announcing others.

A few other announcements: Tinkerbell have announced a new Autumn release, tentatively titled Mouryou no Nie, pretty much guaranteed to join their varied assortment of horrific tentacle rape titles. Lusterise have announced a title for November 26, Shocker. Eushully have mentioned that they’re creating a new SRPG based on the gameplay from Himegari Dungeon Master. New brand onomatope* have announced their first title, Mecha~Kon, a ‘heartful’ story set in a world of polygamy.

In other news, feng’s Hoshizora e Kakaru Hashi has been delayed until September 24, making this its seventh delay since it was first announced back in 2009. Well done, feng! I didn’t think you could possibly delay it again.

  1. Some colours on this website would be nice. So much black and white text makes me go spasm.
And shorten the length of those lines so my head doesn’t have to travel that full 20” of the screen.

  2. Actually I like the way this site is simple and clean. Too many eroge-related sites/blogs out there jam images and CGs down viewer’s throat with very little useful/insightful content.

Same reason I like visiting encubed over other news sites, but they report mainly translation-related news, so this is a good breath of fresh air.

Oh, and the fact that this site uses Textpattern makes it auto-awesome.
